May 15, 2012:

Raising Awareness All Over Chile

Distance to Date: 3457 km , 2143 miles

Sunday's activity (May 13th) was on the news. Not only just local news, but all over Chile! We are told that Channel 13 News is like CNN for Chile, so what a way to spread the word about our project! And it seems to be that way because we are recognized all over Santiago as we walk around town! At a market yesterday, an old man noticed us and pulled out the newspaper we were in (La Cuarta and showed it to us! He did comment on how beautiful Christi was for a 41 year-old woman -- haha, the article was ten years off!

Here are two newspapers and a video clip:
La Cuarta
La Tercera

If you haven't already, please take a second to "like" our Facebook page and ask your friends to do so as well. Our goal is to raise awareness about the abilities of the visually impaired, and this is a simple way to help achieve that goal.

Channel 13 is transmitted all over Chile! Well, perhaps Tauru will be known as "Taurus Chow" in Chile. (In Spanish)

Spread the word and help us Raise Awareness!
