That is SO COOL! We're going to get our tandem bike painted for this ride, courtesy of 1offpowdercoating.com! Tauru's friend, Dale, whom he used to work with at Intel, runs a little shop that specializes in powder coating bikes. When he heard about our 2B2R project, he wanted to do what he could to help out. He's offering to paint our bike! We've been thinking about this for some time now, so getting it done professionally will be awesome! Now, what color? What color? The great dilemma! The long bike will catch people's eyes when we roll through villages, towns, or cities in both the Americas. So what color is important! It should say who we are and what we're trying to do: raise awareness. (And have a fun and adventurous time while doing this!) Oh, and by the way, we do need to stand out, don't we? Yes, sometimes "Me, me, me" is a good thing. In other words, "Hope you see us, cuz we may not see you!" We're thinking of getting the bike painted in September or October, so we have some time to decide which color. If you have a suggestion, let us know.
